ACS Southern Illinois Local Section is hosting seminar this fall on the occasion of National Chemistry Week. This year's theme for NCW is "Picture perfect chemistry". Dr. Laura Walkup, an associate professor at Cincinnati children's hospital medical center has accepted our invitation to talk about her research on "Modern Lung MRI with inhaled hyperpolarized xenon gas".
