Student Travel Scholarships - Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference

Discussion created by Mark Obrien on May 19, 2009

Please help us spread the word to students!  Student travel scholarships are now available for attending the 13th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference in College Park, Maryland, June 23-25, 2009.  A generous grant from the National Science Foundation will provide a limited number of travel scholarships to students (undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs) studying in the U.S., reimbursing students for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to attend the conference, up to a maximum grant size of one thousand dollars (US $1,000.00).

Application details are available on the “Students” page of the GC&E website, www.gcande.org. These application packages must be complete and submitted by Wednesday, May 20, 2009. We encourage you to also sign-up for the Student Workshop when you register for the conference.  If you have questions, please contact greenchem2009@acs.org
