So I'm trying to create a process to brighten up yellowed plastic, and I've read and listened to a lot of information on the subject, but I don' t know that any of the people are actually well versed in chemistry.
The process currently uses Hydrogen Peroxide solution, and black lights, but there is some dispute as to how the process brightens yellowed plastic.
I'm interested in determining if there is a method to do this without purchasing large bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide, and instead use some sort of electrolysis to create hydrogenated water, or even using the hydrogen dissolved in the water with an ozone generator to create h202.
Am I crazy and can someone tell me why this does or doesn't work to produce it?
