Hi, I'm taking a plaster molding class (pertaining to clay) and the teacher said that you could add salt to fasten the hardening process of plaster, and sugar to slow it.
I thought it sounded a bit like an old wives' tale to me and tried to look it up online. I found something similar, but with vinegar instead of sugar to slow the process.
So I thought I would ask here for more expert advice 🙂
