Call for Nominations for Officers
On behalf of the Orlando Section American Chemical Society (ACS) Nominations and Elections Committee, it is my pleasure to invite all ACS Orlando Section members to submit nominations for candidates to serve as officers for the 2020 ACS Orlando Section. The following positions are up for election:
Chair-Elect
Secretary
Treasurer
Councilor
If you or somebody you know would like to be considered for one of these positions, please email lsessions@valenciacollege.edu by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019.
Candidate Requirements:
Every candidate wishing to be considered for any position will be required to provide biographical information (a bio-sketch with less than 250 words) by October 23, 2019.
Candidates should be ACS members during the tenure of their office.
Ballot:
The election of the 2020 office will be conducted through email and mail starting November 1, 2019. All ACS Orlando Section members are eligible to vote for the 2020 ACS Orlando Section
Officers. If you would like a paper ballot, please email me a statement to that effect at lsessions@valenciacollege.edu by Monday, October 21.
Election Schedule:
October 23 Deadline for receipt of nominations, including biographical information
November 1 Mailing ballots and voting opens
November 18 Voting closed
December 1 Certify election results with ACS National
