Nationally known forensic chemist Kelly Elkins, a founding editor of the Journal of Forensic Science Education, will speak on diversity and forensic science. She will present strategies and approaches for creating an inclusive classroom using the American Chemical Society’s DEIR core values. DEIR demonstrates the society’s commitment to cultivating and promoting a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and respectful community of chemistry professionals.
