Aerosol Particle Properties and Their Impact
On September 21, 2017, Mr. Joseph Dawson, Graduate Student at Penn State University, presented a seminar on his current research efforts. He first discussed recent advancements in studying phase behavior of atmospheric nanoparticles. This included the development of methods for generating nanoparticles of relevance to atmospheric research. Mr. Dawson also showed initial images of nanoparticles with three phases, a new observation in the field of research. The second topic on which Mr. Dawson spoke was the measurement of sub 10 nanometer silver particles in residential living environments. The seminar was well received by those in attendance.
