Can reconditioning car batteries at home be done in an environmentally safe way?
There are people who recondition car batteries at home using a magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) solution (https://www.mechanicscout.com/battery-reconditioning/). Is there an environmentally safe way to do this? How should the old sulfuric acid, and the sediment from the bottom of battery be safely disposed of?
