Sterno fumes

I was given Sterno cooking fuel which comes in cans.   The cans leaked, and I have fumes in my house which I can't get rid of.   My ears ring, and I'm nauseated from it.   I 'think' it's denatured alcohol that I'm reacting to.   I'm very sensitive to petroleum products!   I tried activated charcoal and even ozone, but they did not work.

Re: Sterno fumes

Ventilate your home as much as possible by opening windows and using fans. An air purifier with a HEPA filter may help remove the fumes. Given your symptoms, it's best to seek medical attention and consider professional cleanup for safety. Take care.More Detailed
