dear sir ,
please give me above question answer as soon as posible.
Wax content in vegetable oils is low for both. Most commercial vegetable oil waxes are produced by hydrogenation of the refined oils. Saturation of the C=C bonds increases melting temperature, yielding solid (wax) materials. Blends of waxes are used to achieve products with different melting points.
Corelli et al (2002 AOCS 79(8):763-768) report waxes in sunflower oil of 0.02 to 0.35%. Henon et al (2001, AOCS 78(4): 401-410) measured a number of vegetable products and report crude corn oil waxes in the ppm range.
thank you give the answer. another question is how to procedure wax test. please brief me.
